從物流到人流的功能轉變，增加了組織展覽流線和擴大消防疏散寬度的新要求。為此，我們在鍋爐房的前廣場上增加了一條直通三層主展廳的天橋。這座天橋拾階轉過門前的噴涌過歲月的大煙囪，在回應功能需求的同時，也把新的時間繞在了那段舊的時間之上。功能的轉變還帶走了老的生產設施，帶來了新的建筑設備。部分較為雜亂機電設備經過優化隱藏，盡量減少了對原有空間的干擾。另一些具有表現性的管線選擇了明露，比如主展廳的空調系統利用料斗和柱子之間的三角空隙布置了風管，配合24個球形噴口進行送風。精致的不銹鋼風管，與原本粗拙的混凝土并置在一起，也相互映襯了各自的時代。

The functional shift from logistics to the flow of people has increased new requirements for organizing exhibition flow lines and expanding the width of fire evacuation. To this end, we added a bridge to the front square of the boiler room that leads directly to the main exhibition hall on the third floor. The bridge takes steps and turns over the large chimney in front of the door, responding to the functional needs while also wrapping the new time around the old time. The change in functionality also took away the old production facilities and brought new construction equipment. Some of the more cluttered mechanical and electrical equipment has been optimized and hidden to minimize the interference to the original space. Other expressive lines are exposed, such as the air conditioning system in the main exhibition hall, which uses the triangular gap between the hopper and the columns to arrange the air ducts, with 24 spherical nozzles for air supply. The delicate stainless steel ducts, juxtaposed with the otherwise clumsy concrete, also reflect each other's eras.
